WOMEN IN NON-TRADITIONAL SETTINGS (WINS)
This is an intensive offered through the Institute for Extended Learning. This course has a pre-technical and pre-trades component, a fundamental skills enhancement block, and basic computer training. Job Shadowing is a dominant part of the program, working with local employers. WINS is the bridge to encourage women to enroll in professional/technical fields of study, or in some cases of economic necessity, to obtain good paying jobs as soon as possible.
