Welcome to IEL adult education and transitional studies!

The Adult Education Center (AEC), 2310 N. Monroe, is headquarters for the adult basic education eivision (ABE) of the IEL. We are here to help you improve your life through education – no matter where you are on your educational journey.

The AEC is one of 23 sites where ABE classes are offered in the six-county area served by CCS . There also are services in Ferry, Pend Oreille, Stevens, Lincoln, and Whitman counties. Other community sites include churches, public schools and institutions throughout the district.  

The ABE program provides a wide range of educational opportunities on a continuous enrollment basis, days and evenings, four quarters a year for adults 19 years and older.

Courses are individualized to effectively serve the special needs of each student.
