Our English as a second language (ESL) program provides English language instruction for non-native speakers. The program features:
- Six levels of instruction tied directly to state competencies in listening, speaking, reading and writing
- ESL-specific software programs that promote computer literacy
- A focus on job readiness, retention and advancement in the workplace
Tuition is $25 per quarter. Financial assistance is available for income-eligible students. Fill out a tuition waiver request to see if you qualify.
You must have documentation of high school completion and clearance from the Spokane K-12 system to enroll in our ESL program.
We also require you to take a placement test at the Adult Education Center, 2310 N Monroe, before beginning classes. Your score is used to determine which class best matches your skills and needs.
Take ESL online if you aren't able to take a regular class!
