Students pay all costs except tuition up to a combined high school and college maximum enrollment of 1.2 FTEs. Complete the new Enrollment Verification Form with your high school counselor to see how many tuition-free college credits you are allowed. Credits above the allowable amount result in tuition charges. College classes below 100 level also result in tuition charges. Private and homeschooled students not seeking a high school diploma are able to take the full 15 credits tuition-free.
Other mandatory fees are the responsibility of Running Start students and their families:
One-time application for admission fee, $25
Placement testing fee, $30
Registration fee, $10/quarter
Technology fee, $4/credit not to exceed $40/quarter
Other

Books, supplies and transportation
Many of these fees can be waived for income-eligible Running Start students who provide documentation to the IEL center showing they are or have been eligible for free or reduced-price school meals through the public schools anytime in the last five years. Private and homeschooled students can obtain a verification of eligibility letter through their resident public school district office.
