Co-operative preschools provide parents with the opportunity to come together to

• be active partners in their child's first school experience
• use and develop leadership skills through operating their own nonprofit organization
• enhance their parenting skills
• work with teachers to provide developmentally appropriate activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers
• share ideas, interests and resources with other parents and make family friendships
• be enrolled as a continuing education student through Community Colleges of Spokane and participate in parent education seminars.
