Meet a few of our students. This could be you!
Frances Gillen has worked as an LPN and a medical billing specialist.  Illness set her back and she came to Plus 50 through the AARP program.
In her own words: “Plus 50 is a wonderful program where you can get or refresh skills.  The instructors worked with students to meet their needs.”
Randy Woolf is dislocated from the wood industry.
In his own words: “I have more confidence in my computer skills as I apply for positions.  Going back to school reminded me just how much fun it is to learn.”
Anne Schoemaker worked for the Department of Defense and is an ALTCEW participant.  She is developing her skills and working with the SNAP team.
In her own words: “The Plus 50 program really helped me out as I updated my skills.  My Microsoft Word skills went from a 35 percent skill level to 80 percent!”  She is hoping to find a permanent position with SNAP because their values and mission are so similar to her own.
