Randy Woolf is dislocated from the wood industry. He is using his time in Career Builder to develop his skills and consider other options. In his own words: “I have more confidence in my computer skills as I apply for positions. Going back to school reminded me just how much fun it is to learn.” Anne Schoemaker worked for the Department of Defense and is an ALTCEW participant. She is developing her skills and working with the SNAP team. In her own words: “The Plus 50 program really helped me out as I updated my skills. My Microsoft Word skills went from a 35 percent skill level to 80 percent!” She is hoping to find a permanent position with SNAP because their values and mission are so similar to her own.
