Lead instructor Glenn Hepner is an experienced phlebotomist with a bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University–Fresno. Hepner has taught phlebotomy, specimen processing and patient relations for Sacred Heart Medical Center since 1990.

The program also gets instructional support from guest speakers who specialize in the field and experienced phlebotomists who provide hands-on training at various clinical sites.
